Future Teacher Scholarship

Alpha Delta Kappa is an international and altruistic organization for female educators. One of their monetary projects is to give a $750 scholarship to a high school female planning to attend college. The student must be pursuing a degree in education  with the desire to becoming a teacher.

Submissions must be received no later than March 23, 2018 at the address listed on the application.

Junior Auxiliary of Crittenden County

The Junior Auxiliary of Crittenden County will be awarding scholarships to deserving students from Crittenden County.

Stephens Scholarship for Delta Students

Students in certain Delta counties (Arkansas; Ashley; Chicot; Crittenden; Cross; Desha; Drew; Jefferson; Lee; Lincoln; Mississippi; Monroe; Phillips; St. Francis; and Woodruff) who are either recent high school graduates or rising seniors are welcome to apply for a Stephens Scholarship to attend college within Arkansas. Preference will be given to applicants whose household income is below 150% of the federal poverty level. Download the application [PDF] Please spread the word about this diocesan-administered scholarship, both among qualifying students and among those who work with them.

The application deadline is March 31, 2017.



MYSA Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students who have participated in MYSA.  Disregard the information about an application.  The website does not have an application at this time.   MYSA officials will accept all the other items.

Scottish Rite

This scholarship is awarded to Seniors meeting certain qualifications.  Students must have a “B” average.

Alpha Delta Kappa Scholarship -Alpha Rho Chapter (Local chapter)

This $500 scholarship is available to any FEMALE senior living or going to school in Crittenden County and is planning on being a teacher.

DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY West Memphis Area Alumnae Chapter

Delta Sigma Theta will be awarding $3000 scholarships to high school seniors in Crittenden County, AR.  Eligibility requirements include a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and 19 on the ACT.

Applications are available in the counselors office.

DEADLINE:  April 9, 2018  Applications must be postmarked by this date.




Zeta Phi Beta Sorority-Shanto L. Foster Scholarship


Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Upsilon Pi Zeta Chapter sponsors the Shanto L. Foster Scholarship each year.  The award amount is $500.

Jana Blackford Memorial Scholarship

The Jana Blackford Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior who plans to pursue a degree in the medical field beginning in the 2018 semester. Degrees in the medical field shall include, but are not limited to, Medical School, Nursing School, Pharmacy School, Pharmacy Tech School, Physical Therapy School and Occupational Therapy School.

A $750 scholarship will be awarded to one graduate of Marion High School.

Native American Scholarship Award

Seniors who have documentable Native American descent can apply.

Marion Rotary Club Scholarship

This scholarship is given by the marion Rotary Club.  Applicants must be members of MHS Interact Club or children of members of the Marion Rotary.

Marion Alumni Scholarship

This scholarship was started by the Marion High School class of 1964.  ANY senior may apply.

Harold Patterson Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is given by Tabetha P. Bramucci in memory of her father, Harold Patterson.  Any SENIOR ATHLETE planning on attending a school of higher learning may apply.

Crittenden County Master Gardener Scholarship

This scholarship is to assist a Crittenden County, Arkansas resident in pursuing a degree in agriculture or an agriculture related field.

Applicants must have a 2.5 grade point average.


DATE DUE :  May 1, 2018   Application must be mailed by the student.




Allen B. Helms, Sr. Scholarship

The Crittenden Gin Company awards this scholarship in memory of Mr. Allen B. Helms, Sr.  The scholarship will be in the amount of $1500.  It is awarded to a student who resides in the same area as customers and who is interested in agriculture or an agriculture related field.

Arkansas Academic Challenge (YOUniversal application)

Academic Challenge Scholarships

The Academic Challenge Program provides scholarships to Arkansas residents pursuing a higher education. Funded in large part by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, the Academic Challenge Scholarship is available to students regardless of their academic status, whether just graduating from high school, currently enrolled in college, enrolling in college for the first time, or re-enrolling after a period of time out of college.

Starting with the class of 2016, the only requirement is a 19 on the ACT or ACT equivalent score, FAFSA Required.

Methodist Family Health Foundation Scholarship

Former and current residential clients eligible for scholarships

The Methodist Family Health Foundation Scholarship Fund provides educational financial assistance to qualified former or current residential clients of the Methodist Children’s Home programs, which include Residential Treatment Centers, Therapeutic Group Homes, Therapeutic Foster Care, Emergency Shelter and Arkansas CARES.

Applicants may be engaged in part-time or full-time post-secondary education. Eligible post-secondary programs include college, graduate school, vocational/technical programs or trade schools.

The Methodist Family Health Scholarship Fund is a competitive scholarship. Not all qualified applicants will be selected. Applications should be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the start of the school term. Click on the Scholarship Application button below to access the scholarship application form.

The scholarship fund is made possible by the Olin C. Chambers Trust and the Gradelle Leigh Trust. More than $132,000 in scholarships have been awarded since the first MFH Scholarship was awarded in 2006.
