Arkansas Academic Challenge (YOUniversal application)

Academic Challenge Scholarships

The Academic Challenge Program provides scholarships to Arkansas residents pursuing a higher education. Funded in large part by the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, the Academic Challenge Scholarship is available to students regardless of their academic status, whether just graduating from high school, currently enrolled in college, enrolling in college for the first time, or re-enrolling after a period of time out of college.

Scholarship Deadline to Apply:  June 15, 2018


Starting with the class of 2016, the only requirement is a 19 on the ACT or ACT equivalent score, FAFSA Required.

Methodist Family Health Foundation Scholarship

Former and current residential clients eligible for scholarships

The Methodist Family Health Foundation Scholarship Fund provides educational financial assistance to qualified former or current residential clients of the Methodist Children’s Home programs, which include Residential Treatment Centers, Therapeutic Group Homes, Therapeutic Foster Care, Emergency Shelter and Arkansas CARES.

Applicants may be engaged in part-time or full-time post-secondary education. Eligible post-secondary programs include college, graduate school, vocational/technical programs or trade schools.

The Methodist Family Health Scholarship Fund is a competitive scholarship. Not all qualified applicants will be selected. Applications should be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the start of the school term. Click on the Scholarship Application button below to access the scholarship application form.

The scholarship fund is made possible by the Olin C. Chambers Trust and the Gradelle Leigh Trust. More than $132,000 in scholarships have been awarded since the first MFH Scholarship was awarded in 2006.
