Congratulations to this week’s winner of the A.C.E. award for promoting an Academic Culture of Excellence at 7GA!!!
Coach Garrett
Last week’s winner, Coach Volner, awarded the Academic Culture of Excellence Award to
Coach Garrett, saying…
Coach Garrett is always keeping the vibes high both on the field and in the classroom. His positive energy is contagious and brings smiles to students and staff at 7GA every single day. He genuinely cares about others, always checking in to ask how our baseball season is going and even showing up to support us at our recent game against GCT—despite the rain. His kindness, enthusiasm, and team-first attitude make him an incredible coworker and a true asset to our school. Coach Garrett is not just great to work with—he makes the world a better place.
Congrats Coach Garrett

School nurses are often the first point of contact for students seeking help when they're unwell or have sustained an injury. However, their role extends far beyond this immediate care. They are invaluable resources that contribute significantly to a student's overall education and well-being. This observance highlights the vital functions these dedicated professionals perform within our schools. They do more than simply provide bandaids for playground scrapes or check temperatures when a child shows signs of illness; they are essential first responders to a range of medical concerns and diligently administer necessary medications during the school day. Today, we take a moment to honor Nurse Shawanna Stokes. 7GA is incredibly grateful to have you as a part of our community!

7GA Families: It's time for students to turn in books that are overdue. Students with missing books were given paper slips yesterday that included the image of the book they need to look for. Please help us check backpacks and around your home to see if we can find those books. 7GA is thrilled to report that so far this year, our library has had 2,651 check outs!

**Happy Principal's Day - Mrs. Emily Duncan-Hall**
May 1 is a special day designated as School Principals Day, a perfect opportunity to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated leaders who nurture and guide our children every single day. These remarkable individuals are instrumental in shaping academic success and creating a positive atmosphere within our schools.
Principals are often the unsung heroes of the education system, dedicating their time, energy, and passion while rarely receiving the recognition they deserve. Without their visionary leadership, our schools would struggle to thrive. They create an environment where students can excel and inspire a determination to succeed.
Let's take this time to acknowledge their unwavering commitment and the profound impact they have on the lives of our students and the school community as a whole. Here at 7GA, we are fortunate to have a principal who truly goes above and beyond. Mrs. Emily Duncan-Hall, we deeply appreciate all that you invest in our school community. We genuinely don’t know where we would be without you.
Thank You!
