Six home dates, including the annual preseason benefit scrimmage, and some of the lighter road trips of recent memory comprise the 2025 Marion football schedule.

Marion's (7-4 overall in 2024) preseason scrimmage will be played on Friday, August 22, against defending 5A East champion Valley View, and the Patriots officially get underway one week later on August 29 when they continue their oldest and longest-running series against Wynne.

A road trip to perennial state power Harding Academy kicks off Marion's September slate on September 5, and Class 7A power Conway helps Marion close out its non-conference schedule at home on September 12.

Following its annual bye date on September 19, Marion opens league action on September 26 at Sylvan Hills, and October opens with a home game with El Dorado on October 3.

The Fred Leonard State Farm Hometown Showdown shifts this season to West Memphis on October 10, and Marion will celebrate its annual Homecoming date on October 17 when Jonesboro comes calling.

Marion's longest road trip of the 2025 season is scheduled for October 24 with a visit to Sheridan, and Senior Night at MHS will take place on October 31 against Little Rock Catholic. The Patriots close out the regular season on November 7 with an intriguing road date at Benton.

Potential playoff dates will be decided throughout the season, with the opening round of the Class 6A football playoffs scheduled for Friday, November 14, the quarterfinals lined up for November 21, the semifinals on November 28, and the Class 6A state championship game scheduled for December 5 at Little's Rock War Memorial Stadium.
