The Marion High School Concert Choir continued its tradition of musical excellence, earning a Rating of 2 (Excellent) at the Arkansas State Choir Festival held Friday in Conway.

This accomplishment comes on the heels of an outstanding showing at the Regional Choir Festival, where the ensemble received Superior ratings in both stage performance and sight-reading. Those scores qualified the group to advance to the state level, where they represented Marion High School with distinction among the top choirs in Arkansas.

Throughout the year, the Concert Choir has demonstrated a high level of musical discipline, artistry, and commitment. Their continued success reflects not only their individual dedication but also the strong support of school leadership, faculty, parents, and the community.

The Marion Choir Program will conclude its performance season with its End-of-Year Choir Concert on Tuesday, May 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Marion Performing Arts Center. This special event will feature performances by the 8th Grade Mixed Choir, 9th Grade Mixed Choir, and the High School Concert Choir.

The evening will also include recognition of student achievements and a celebration honoring the program’s graduating seniors.

The public is invited to attend and celebrate the accomplishments of these outstanding student musicians.
