Mr. Joel Payne, VP of Sales and Operations with the SMS group in Osceola, came today to speak to some of our classes about the steel industry in Arkansas. Mr. Payne also spoke about what employers look for in resumes and during interviews. He gave the students great tips on what to look for in a company and how to handle interviews.
This show features the classic tale of Robin Hood, who—accompanied by a band of merry men (mostly girls in this case)—robs from the rich, gives to the poor, and saves the fair Maid Marian. This comic retelling includes thumb wars, missed cues, and a slow-motion fight.
Make it a family night—this show is appropriate for all ages!
Show Dates:
October 20th, 21st, and 22nd at 6 PM
October 26th at 2 PM
Tickets are $10 and sold at the door!

Representing the Crowley’s Ridge region, please join us in congratulating:
Ms. Patti Castle, Health Sciences teacher at Marion High School and current AR ACTE Vice President of Health Sciences
Mr. Tony Tsui, Business and Computer Science teacher at Bay High School
We are excited to celebrate their selection and look forward to seeing them grow as leaders, advocates, and collaborators through the ACTE Fellows program.

Ms. Rakestraw's MHS Oral Comm. classes do what's called a "no-talking day" during their nonverbal communication unit. Well, that day is back and the students will do it tomorrow, Sept. 9. All students will have a form for teachers to sign AT THE END of class stating that they didn't use verbal communication during class. (Of course, there are exceptions.) Good luck, students!

The MHS Parent Committee would like to thank all parents for everything they do in collaboration with teachers to make our students successful. Thursday night, the committee's focus was attendance. In addition, door prizes were given away. Parent Facilitator Ms. Sturghill is pictured with a few of our parents who received prizes.
