Calling all MHS students and alumni! Homecoming is upon us!! Get ready for a fun filled week of school spirit as we gear up for the big game between the MHS Patriots and the Sylvan Hills Bears on September 27th at 7PM at MHS Southern Bancorp Stadium.

MHS is excited to announce our School Rap Contest! Students get to shine, show off their rhymes, and have a blast! We are looking for a Patriot Nation song to represent all the positive things going on in our school This song could possibly be played at all home ball games. MHS Lady Patriots basketball team decided to do some brain exercise since yesterday's inclement weather prevented them from completing their physical exercise. The ladies were excited to test out the MHS library's new Teen Makerspace activities.

The phenomenal counselors at MHS are making sure that all Seniors are on top of everything they need in order to wrap up their last year.

MHS students had a delicious time at lunch today sampling the food that Coach Paslay's classes prepared during their lesson on safe food prepping! Amazing job you guys!

The MHS tennis teams swept Nettleton last night, winning every court on the boys and girls sides. Way to go Patriots!




MHS would like to take the time to honor National Patriot by acknowledging those who bravely stood in the face of the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil. We will never forget you.


MHS Food Safety classes are cooking up a storm! Today, they prepped a whole hog and Boston butts for smoking as well as Navajo pumpkin tied bread and buttermilk pies.
This food will be served in the cafeteria on Thursday as the students' lunch.

Calling all amateur sleuths, seasoned detectives, and expert investigators!
MHS theatre presents the murder mystery, The Plot, Like Gravy, Thickens! This production features one murder and 13 suspects! Who murdered Edward Worthington III on his birthday? Was it his ex-wife? Current wife? Mistress? Business partner? Lawyer? Or any one of the many house staff?
Audience members will get to participate in the fun during a questioning session during the 2nd act!
We will also run a raffle at intermission! Audience members can purchase a guess ticket to vote who the murderer is. Out of all the correct guesses, one audience member will be selected to win a 50/50 pot of all guess money for the night!
With so many talented actors, we do have two casts performing in this show. Each night offers a little something different!
The show dates are September 19th, 20th, and 21st at 6PM and the 22nd at 2PM. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10!
