MJHS Art students started working on entries for DeltaArts Bicentennial Brush Strokes art competition today during RTI.




A big thank you to Mrs. Lisa O’Neal for visiting Ms. Washington’s Leadership and Service Learning class! She shared her inspiring journey through her leadership roles, the organizations she’s involved in, her commitment to community service, and even some history of Crittenden County. We truly appreciate her time and wisdom!


The great Dr. George Galindo with Great Minds works with our 8th grade math team during a recent visit.



Science classes have spent time decoding units of measurement. They learned to break down words into base units and the prefixes that attach to each word to better understand number values of commonly used units.

Monday Funday! 8th grade science students reviewed the scientific method and graphing skills with an M&M Lab. They created a hypothesis, collected, recorded, and analyzed data. Then, students had to write a paragraph conclusion to share with the class.









Students in Ms. Akers classes are learning about business functions and business cycles. These students were tasked with creating a product as if they were developing it for SHARK TANK!. We may have some future business men/women in our midst.




Students in Ms. Washington's Leadership and Service Learning classes are pretending to be COMMUNITY LEADERS. These leaders are addressing the community with important local issues and concerns inspiring others to work together for positive change. Looks like we have a great future ahead of us for our community of Marion.











Club Fair was a SUCCESS! 8th and 9th grade students were able to see all the club options for the school year. We can't wait to see what everyone picks.
