Is there adequate space for us to share what Mrs. Gill means to us and how much we will miss her?
Elizabeth Gill was everything to everyone. The best student advocate. A kind and compassionate coworker. The premier example of an “upstander” for our students and her peers alike.
We love you, Mrs. Gill. We will do our best to carry on and demonstrate your loving traits for all students, all people, all the time, in every way.

Nous sommes des maniaques de musique!
During the month of March, French students at MJHS participated in Manie Musicale - a yearly contest to promote appreciation of French language and culture. First, students previewed a variety of songs from the French-speaking world and created a ranking based on which songs they thought were best. Then, they voted for those songs alongside other French students around the globe. This year's winning song was "Nouveau Monde" by Corneille, a singer from Canada. We were fortunate to get a special shout out from the artist on social media as he thanked all the students who voted for him and his music.
French students at both MJHS and MHS were also in competition with each other as they hoped that their predicted ranking would be closest to the actual results. Four MJHS students scored more than 20 points overall and were rewarded with some French candy and an Eiffel Tower keychain. They were Journee Thomas, Oliver Thomas, Kaelynn Wright, and Kaitlynn Wright. Félicitations!
