✨4th Grade ✨Mineral Sleuths!
Students worked in groups to determine the identity of "mystery minerals" by performing tests to identify specific attributes of each mineral. Students then referenced the attributes on a website to determine each minerals identities.
Kindergarteners have been studying the life cycle of a chicken. From the egg to the chick, students have been engaged with this hands-on experience. They have eagerly been waiting for hatch day, and it has finally arrived! Meet our MST chicks! 🐣

In celebration of Earth Day, students in Mrs. Gilbert’s first grade class rolled up their sleeves, put on gloves, and took to the campus with bags in hand for a school-wide clean-up! We’re so proud of their efforts to help keep our environment clean and beautiful. Way to go, young Earth heroes!🌍
🦋 Butterfly Magic in 3rd Grade! 🌼
Our 3rd graders have been hard at work learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly—from tiny eggs to fluttering wings! On Monday, they got to witness the magic firsthand as we released our butterflies into the wild. What a beautiful moment to see them take flight!
To top it all off, we rolled up our sleeves and got a little dirty with Mr. Atkins, planting wildflowers that will help support butterflies and other pollinators. 🌸🌿
It was a day full of wonder, learning, and hands-on fun—science and nature coming to life right before our eyes! 🐛➡️🦋🌼

🐣✨ Exciting things are happening in Mrs. Waldrip's Kindergarten class! Our little scientists are watching a real-life miracle unfold right before their eyes as they observe chicks hatching from their eggs! 🐥
Each day, the students are using their "Notice and Wonder" skills to track the process and learn about the life cycle of these adorable little chicks. 🐣 From the first cracks in the shell to the moment they emerge, our kindergartners are filled with curiosity and excitement as they witness this special experience.
It's a perfect example of hands-on learning and the wonders of nature. We can’t wait to see what they discover next! 🌱🦋
