🌍 Tasting Around the World at MST! 🌍
This Thursday, students at MST took their taste buds on a global adventure during auxiliary classes with a special Tasting Around the World event, beautifully organized by Mrs. Banks!
Our students had the opportunity to try delicious dishes from four different countries:
🇹🇼 Cucumber Salad from Taiwan
🇲🇽 Mexican Street Corn from Mexico
🇯🇲 Jerk Chicken from Jamaica
🇵🇭 Beko Rice from the Philippines
It was an exciting and educational experience that brought cultures to life through flavor. Thank you, Mrs. Banks, for creating such a meaningful and tasty learning opportunity!

📸🌿 Exciting News from the STEM Lab! 🌿📸
We are thrilled to announce that select students will be chosen to participate in a special science and photography project designed to deepen their understanding of nature through the lens of a camera. As part of this unique, hands-on learning experience, students will be issued a Canon EOS R50 camera for a one-week period to document scientific observations and explore local natural environments.
This exciting opportunity has been made possible through the generous support of the Arkansas Rural Game and Fish Wildlife Grant, which has provided our school with professional-grade camera equipment. With these tools, students will engage in project-based outdoor learning, capturing images of local habitats, native plants and animals, and ecological patterns that align with our integrated science and technology curriculum.
We can’t wait to see the world through their eyes as they connect science, creativity, and the outdoors in this innovative educational experience!

Students worked in groups to determine the identity of "mystery minerals" by performing tests to identify specific attributes of each mineral. Students then referenced the attributes on a website to determine each minerals identities.
