VPA students celebrated Read Across America Week with a week full of reading fun! Students participated in dress up days and activities to celebrate some of our favorite books and favorite authors. We also had guest readers visit from throughout the community. It was an amazing week of fun!

In celebration of Dr. Seuss week, these students were assigned a challenge inspired by "Ten Apples Up on Top." Students built the tallest towers they could with materials provided. The towers had to hold their apples on top without the students touching them.

Public meeting
When one of VPA's GT students can teach you all about Chinese New Year...you listen. Mrs. Schmidt, the district GT coordinator, found the experience so insightful to learn about different cultures, especially cultures of VPA friends! ❤️🐉🐲 And of course they put a little VPA spin and learned the ancient art of paper cutting!
