Congratulations to these responsible students. These STAR STUDENTS all brought a charged Chromebook all week during testing. Getting crafty in science! During RTI time, Mrs. Nash’s students experienced a fun, enrichment lab where they made cup models to show the phases of the moon. As they twist the cup, its shows them a different lunar phase. 🌙

Art club students wanted to create artwork to encourage the rest of the school, so Mrs. Hilder sketched this mural for the Art Club to paint and hang in the hall! More inspiring artwork is in the works!
JR High Track Tryouts
MJHS students have been learning about SOCIAL MEDIA and the positive and negative effects it can have. These students then created presentations using Canva and Google slides to share with their classmates.
Marion School District was honored to once again to partner with WREG and their annual "Coats for Kids" program. Through this program, each of our schools received 10 new or gently used coats and hoodies that will be distributed to students in need.
On Time ALL the Time! ⏰
These star students get to class on time between each and EVERY bell. We will continue to pick students each week who are not tardy. These students will receive a FREE ticket to a home game. Great job! Keep watching the time and getting to class ON TIME ALL THE TIME!!! Great job Sam Gibbs!

National Special Education Day is celebrated on December 2nd each year to commemorate the signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 1975. The IDEA was the first federal law to ensure that children with disabilities have access to the same free public education as other children. Before the law, many children with disabilities were denied learning opportunities.

The MJHS Student Council has been collecting donations for the local animal shelter. Today the kids took a break from school to visit all the animals and deliver all their gifts. They were tasked with bathing, walking, organizing supplies and of course loving on all the pets. We left with 2 pet adoptions. Please check out all the animal photos and take one home for Christmas.

The MJHS Student Council members have been challenging others to give back. This challenge has them collecting and matching each other's nonperishable food items. These items were then donated to the Marion School District Food Pantry. The students bagged the items for collection at a later time. 'Tis the season for GIVING!
