Check out some of our MST scientists in action! Students learned about convection currents in fourth-grade science class. They saw how warm molecules rise while cold molecules sink during an experiment about how heat moves. Warm water was colored red and cold water was colored blue. Through their observations, students found that warm water molecules moved at a faster rate than the cold molecules.
