We are all about that character! These students in Mrs. Phillips's homeroom were voted on by their peers to receive the respect award or the patience award. We are so proud of you!

MST students got to show up and show out at yesterday's MHS homecoming parade. We love our Pats and we are cheering for you! Go Pats!

Last night was our Gardening with Grands event! Thank you to those that joined us for this special event. A plantabulous time was had by all who came. Especially by Ava Williams, kindergarten student, who won the bug bag prize!

We’ve got a building full of superstars and these ones did a great job with morning announcements!

Patriot patriot football players and cheerleaders greeted our students on the very first Football Friday of this year. Thank you for coming to spend time with our students. We are always so excited to see some of our favorite patriots on game day!

School is always more fun when you get to dress up with your friends!

We would love for all of our awesome MST grandparents to join us on Thursday, September 15th for Gardening with Grands. Additional information can be found on the flyer sent home with students.

Look at that PBIS store filling up!!!
Students, keep earning those Patriot bucks because you will get to spend them before you know it!
We would like to give a shout out to one of our amazing MST parents, Krystal Lovell. We are so thankful for all the goodies you bought and donated to our PBIS store!

1st graders in Mrs. Jones's class explored a new text this week, "My Librarian is a Camel." The class utilized a treasure box full of items found in their story to give them visual interactions with the story. Students also worked in pairs to further investigate the text and discuss things they noticed and wondered.

Did you know...
each morning at MST from 7:50 - 8:20 we have targeted, focused instruction going on in each classroom. It is called Rise and Shine! Some students are working ahead in their learning. While others are getting an extra dose of instruction on essential skills, one of our top priorities. During this time, every single staff member is working to make Rise and Shine run smoothly. Your student does not want to miss this time!

Our morning announcement helpers have been on their a games lately!

The MST Book Fair Coin Drive and Spirit Week will happen next week! Proceeds will go to All For Books and our CIA Green Team.
TREEMENDOUS TUESDAY-bring pennies and wear green
WILDERNESS WEDNESDAY-bring nickels and wear camo/animal print
BUG OFF THURSDAY-bring dimes and dress like an insect
GARDEN PARTY FRIDAY-bring quarters and wear pajamas
Coins will be collected in the lobby each morning on the way to class!

MST's Community in Action group is always looking for volunteers to get involved with some of the amazing things happening here. One of the many things community members can volunteer for is to help out with our VIP parties which happen at the end of every nine weeks. Our first VIP parties will be coming up very soon, and the CIA is looking for volunteers to help make those parties fabulous for our students.
