Due to the forecast for frigid temperatures, near record- level wind chills and possible frozen precipitation for tomorrow morning – MSD will delay school start time tomorrow- Tuesday, November 12- until 10:00 a.m.
Bus routes will run 2 hours later than normal.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for some, but the safety of our students, faculty and staff remains a top priority for our School District.
Today Mr. High's 5th grade science classes finalized their constellations unit by recreating their personally chosen constellation on black paper using glow in the dark paint. This will hang in Mr. High's room and will be illuminated by the many black lights hung around the room. 🤩

MST Parents: The Outdoor Movie will be taking place on the West End of our building....in between the cafeteria and the gym. The playground and greenhouse are also located on the West end. Parking will be available on the west end and also in the front of the building. Consessions will begin at 5:30 and the movie will start at 6:15. We hope to see you soon!

The 4th graders made slime in one if their Fall STEM rotations for Halloween. They learned about non-newtonian fluids and made their own unique creations. 👨🏽🔬👩🏼🔬

Our zoo trip has been RESCHEDULED for MONDAY, November 4th. We are sorry for this inconvenience and we hope those that have signed up to chaperone will still be able to join us.

Good evening MST 2nd grade parents. We regret to inform you that the 2nd grade field trip to the zoo that was scheduled for tomorrow, October 25th, has been cancelled. We have been monitoring the weather closely all day. With the chance of rain now up to an 80% chance, we feel this is the best decision for our students. Your child's teacher will send communication out in the near future regarding when this field trip will be rescheduled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Tickets are still available at MSD Central Office until 4 p.m. or at the door tomorrow night.

MST Discovery Class with Mrs. Lantrip - K-2nd students planted these Lima bean plants five weeks ago in Discovery class.
The Lima bean plants outgrew the small cup they were originally planted in five weeks, ago. 6th grade student’s Nicholas and Rylie transplant Lima bean plants to bigger pots. Lastly, these plants will be taken to the MST greenhouse so they will continue to grow.
