The Krewe of Philotes had a great Krewe day!!

It was a great day at VPA!! Thank you to our Supporting CAST parent volunteers!

We are kicking off our 3rd year of PBIS through demonstrating our STAGE values:
S = Strive to reach high goals.
T = Take responsibility for my words and actions.
A = Act respectfully.
G = Grow my mindset.
E = Enter to learn, leave to achieve.
Students earn tickets for demonstrating our STAGE values each week. They can enter their tickets in a drawing for a chance to win weekly prizes. Here are two of our recent winners caught demonstrating our STAGE values. Students, keep earning those tickets!

Tomorrow is school picture day!

Mrs. Johnson’s kinders completed a visual art study of a painting by artist Marc Chagall. Students learned that color and shapes in paintings can help them build knowledge. They loved creating paintings of their own, using various colors and shapes, and displaying it in their class gallery! 🎨🖼️ 🖍️

Meeting TONIGHT in the VPA cafeteria at 6pm!

Don't forget to make plans to attend our first Supporting CAST meeting!

VPA loves our community partners! Thank you to Bayird Jeep and Marion Nutrition for your donation of school supplies and backpacks! Your donations make a huge difference for the students in our school. We truly appreciate your commitment to VPA!

Please help stock our makerspace lab in discovery class this year that will contain STEAM materials to encourage our students to create, think, collaborate, and solve problems! Our lab has items, such as Legos, Kinex, and glue, but we could use some help restocking some supplies. Please send the item listed below to school with your child. We would greatly appreciate it!
